Get to know your neighbors

Get to know your neighbors and those around you.

It might seem silly to suggest making friends is a good sustainability tip, but consider the advantages of sharing share resources with others once you get to know one another.

As we get to know one another it helps remove the fear we might have in asking for help as well as offering help.

Sites like NeighborGood can help you expedite the process by allowing you to list the things you’re willing to share as well as list the things you might need to borrow.

After all, there’s no need for everyone on your street to own a 20-foot ladder when you already have one collecting dust in your garage.
