We went with a big comforter when we first get married. We simply pull up the sheet, comforter and throw the pillows on. Only takes a couple minutes at that. And a great set of knifes is a super help as well. Keep them sharp and you can save yourself a lot of stress, time and energy as well.

Excellent! We went with a big comforter when we first get married. I use it almost everyday!A purchase I made recently for the home: a down-filled duvet and duvet cover. I thought I bought this as a selfish move (I WANT one), but it now takes me only 3 seconds to make the bed, instead of 5 minutes of straightening sheets, tucking in blankets, etc. My life is simplified!I also have two good heat-proof spatulas...they can be used when I bake a cake, when I'm frying eggs, to serve rice...multiple uses, reducing my need for other utensils.I'm finding that sometimes it is better to have one GREAT thing than a bunch of sub-standard things. Probably my next purchase is two really sharp, well-made knives, one big, one small. I will be able to donate all my other sub-standard knives, clearing up lots of space in my utensil drawer.

I love the apple-peeler.
